). Apart from the odd smells that seep through the vents and the pitter-patty sounds of running from the floor above there isn't too much interaction between neighborly figures. I'm certain the people who stay next to me on each side have heard me hitting the bodyrock a few times, but wouldn't know that because it sounds like I'm either repeatedly killing myself or an over vocal sex partner. Either way, it isn't everyday someone gets to see me display some of my skills - yesterday, there was interaction between building mates, there were face to face encounters AND I found out I have some, "Kick ass" jump roping skills.Jumping rope is just something I like to do and I do turn some heads from time to time but I usually credit that to the fact that I have odd hair, I also wear shorts in winter and jump rope while people are passing in business suits and what not. I don't think I'm Buddy Lee, but I do turn a couple heads - due to who knows - most times it is annoying and I feel really awk.
Yesterday, after I'd finished my jump rope ses'h, walking up the stairs from the back of the building - an entrance restaurant workers prop open with a dish towel because there is no handle on the outside of the door so if someone wants to step out for say, a smoke break or an excruciating jump rope session they would be ass'd out with no towel (it's a tough galaxy. If you want to survive out here you've got to know where your towel is) - there was another man headed down. He went on to tell me of my glory on a rope and how he watches me most nights I'm out there.
When someone tells you they watch you in the night, on most occasions you should be suspicious. But, when someone tells you how great you are at something it is better to just smile and carry on. And that is what I did. I smiled and walked on ignoring the fact that there is an old guy that likes to watch me get all sweaty. I'm no pervert, so I don't make it like this guy is either. Really I just had nothing interesting to talk about.
I did the workouts for the 4th and fifth and they were alright. I'm not a major fan of the exercise challenges because I like the interval stuff - makes me feel like it is a workout I can't run away from. I don't want to just get done with these days of workouts on a whim, I want it to be hard as anything she offers. SO, I did some ab stuff after.
